Jelli is searching for software quality engineers to help us deliver a revolutionary music service and new products. This is a full-time position based in San Mateo, CA.
About the right candidate
You are experienced in quality assurance, black box and white box testing. You are diligent in executing test plans as well as a creative problem solver. You indentify issues quickly and early during development to avoid problems that may manifest late in a release cycle. You are also passionate, almost to a fault, about shipping a high quality product to users.

Specific Responsibilities
- You will be partnering with developers, product managers and service engineers to deliver web-site and mobile app releases to our customers
- You will be responsible for testing software, creating test cases, test plans, test data and defect write-ups
- You will be participating in, or leading, code, test case, test plan and acceptance reviews alongside other engineers
- You will be operating in an Agile development environment to deliver the best service for our customers
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year QA experience testing consumer internet services, mobile apps or equivalent experience
- BS Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience testing Web Services APIs
- Experience in developing and executing white box tests for web-sites and/or mobile apps required
- Experience with test automation tools to create and run tests, preferably Selenium
- Experience working on an Agile development team with rapid iterations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate complex technical issues to engineers and other team members
