Jelli is seeking mobile software engineers to build and enhance the Jelli experience for iPhone and iPad. This is a full-time position based in our office in San Mateo, CA.
About the right candidate
You are a creative and passionate mobile engineer with a proven track record of developing iOS applications. Ideally, you have been an iOS expert since the ‘early’ days and you have shipped multiple successful iPhone and/or iPad apps.
You thrive on writing clean code and pixel-perfect applications that inspire users, customers and partners. You understand the importance of performance and polish in mobile applications and you know how to deliver it. Specific Responsibilities
- Work with a team of highly talented software engineers to re-invent and build Jelli as the best social music service on the iPhone and iPad
- Design, implement and optimize a highly interactive mobile app that is connected to the Jelli Service Platform to enable a synchronous listening and game experience
- Write clean, optimized and object-oriented Objective-C code
- Create brilliant user experiences and animations
- Use best practices to develop a highly stable application, free of memory leaks, device compatibility issues, and network handling issues
- Work closely with product managers and UX designers to create the best possible experience for our mobile users
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional experience
- Built and delivered application(s) for the iOS platform that you proudly show to your friends
- Bachelors degree in CS or related preferred, but we’re more interested in the things you’ve built
- Expertise with mobile usability standards & practices
