Jelli is seeking experienced developers to build compelling web applications using HTML5 technologies. This is a full-time position based in our office in San Mateo, CA.

You are a talented and passionate frontend engineer with proven experience developing HTML5 applications, or highly interactive, modern web sites. You thrive on writing clean Javascript code and pixel-perfect applications that inspire users, customers and partners. You understand the importance of performance and polish and you have a proven track record of delivering it. Specific Responsibilities
- Work with a team of highly talented software engineers to re-invent and build Jelli as the best social music service
- Design, implement and optimize a highly interactive web application that is connected to the Jelli Service Platform to enable a synchronous listen and game experience
- Design, rapidly prototype, and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable web applications using HTML5 technologies
- Enforce code quality through test driven development
- Collaborate closely with engineers and our product team to define product requirements
- Distill product requirements into design and technical specifications
- Aggressively collect, analyze, and act on product performance data
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience building compelling web applications
- Strong interest in product design and building irresistible user interfaces
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML and CSS – Ruby/PHP is a plus
- Demonstrable experience developing web applications using HTML5
- Bachelors degree in CS or related preferred, but we’re more interested in the things you’ve built
