What info about me will be seen by other Jelli users?
When other Jelli users visit your profile page, they will see your picture, your flair/badges, and any information you’ve entered about yourself in the About area. They’ll also see which Jelli station you were last tuned into in the “Last seen on” area, your list of favorite tracks, and your lifetime statistics for rockets and votes.

Users can also see the lists of people you’re following and your groupies. You can hide these lists if you wish. Just visit your Jelli settings and uncheck the “Show my followers on my profile page” preference.

Other users do not have access to your private information such as email address, full name, birthdate and zip code. We strongly recommend that you do not include personal information such as telephone number, address, etc. in your profile unless you absolutely wish it to be public to the entire Jelli community.

How is my user name used on the air?
T_Bone, our Robot DJ, loves reading your Jelli user name on the air when you take certain actions, such as getting your rocketed track to play.

Of course, since he’s a precise Robot DJ, he’ll read your user name exactly as it appears. He’ll ignore punctuation but will read everything else very literally.

For example:

  • Lisa_from_the_510 will be read as “Lisa from the five hundred ten”
  • e11even will be read as “e eleven even”

I’m having trouble signing into Jelli. What can I do?
If you’ve forgotten your password, visit the Password Reminder page for assistance.

If you’re forgotten your username, visit the Password Reminder page and enter the email address that you used when you created your Jelli account.

If you’ve forgotten your username (or we don’t recognize it), or you can’t recall the email address you used to create your Jelli account, please contact us at feedback@jelli.com for assistance. Please include as much information as you can about your Jelli account, e.g. possible usernames or email addresses you may have used.

I signed into Jelli with my Facebook account. Why do I need or want a different Jelli username?
If you have a Facebook account, you can quickly sign into Jelli. When you do, we use the first name and last initial on your Facebook account to create a screen name for you (e.g. John D, Jessica B). That Facebook name will show up when you are in a chat room, when your rocketed track gets on air, and on your public Jelli profile page – anywhere you share information with other users on Jelli.

However, some users prefer to have a more unique username on Jelli. So after signing in with your Facebook account, you can create a Jelli username on your settings page.

When you do, the new username you create will become your Jelli username for eternity. That means it will be the name that appears when you are in a chat room, when your rocketed track gets on air, and on your public Jelli profile page. It cannot be changed, so choose wisely and be sure to preview the username so you can hear how T-Bone will pronounce it on the air.

Please note that usernames need to be appropriate for all ages so keep it clean. Unsuitable usernames will be rejected and may result in your Jelli account being closed. Don’t let that happen!

After you’ve created a Jelli username, you can sign back into Jelli with either your Facebook account or your Jelli username – either one will work.

How do I confirm my Jelli account?
When you sign up for a Jelli account, we need you to verify your email address. You should have received a confirmation email immediately after signup, but on occasion they can end up in spam and not make it to your inbox. To receive your confirmation email again, you can:
1) Request a forgot password email. This will send you a password reset email along with instructions on how to confirm your account.
2) Contact support@jelli.com and ask for assistance with confirming your account. Please write us from the same email address on your Jelli account and include your username when you write to us.
