We just released the latest version of the Jelli for iPhone app, full of great new features to help you connect with other Jelli users. Check out what’s new in version 2.2:
View other people’s profiles
The design of your own profile has been updated in the app, plus you can now view other users’ profiles too. Listen to other people’s DJ names, view their lifetime stats, photo and description. You can even dive into their list of groupies and who they’re following.
Follow other Jelli users
Users on jelli.com have been following each other around for months, and now we’ve brought this feature to the iPhone. Follow other users you come across in the app, and if you’re lucky, they’ll follow you back and become your groupie. When you both follow each other, you can see when you’re online and on what station. Just visit someone’s profile and tap the Follow button.
Top 11 Charts for every station
Ever wonder what the top tracks are on your favorite Jelli station? What plays the most? What gets bombed the most? Which song earns the most sucks votes when it’s on the air? Well now you can find out. Tap the Stats icon in the app to see what’s trending from yesterday or the week before. You’ll also find the Playlist History for a station under the Stats section.
Improved view of Favorites list
We’ve changed how Favorites are displayed in the app. Now they’re divided into two sections – favorites available on your current station, and a list of all favorites. This makes it a lot easier to scan other people’s favorites from their profile and do them a solid by tapping the “Vote For All” button.
See how many Jellies are tuned in
Just like on the website, you can now see how many Jelli listeners are tuned into a station. As you swipe through the tuner, you’ll see how many people are currently exercising their right to rule the airwaves, and how many have been on in the last day.
Now that you have ways to connect with other Jelli users from within the app, be on the lookout for entries into people’s profiles. Tap on a username in chat, or on a rocketer’s name in the On Air view. Then have fun viewing their favorites, checking out their groupies, and more. Start building your lists of groupies and people you’re following.
